Race Beneficiary

The Dusty Bandita is excited to partner with a company/organization that aligns with our vision

The Dusty Bandita women’s gravel race will choose one beneficiary per year to receive 20% of race proceeds and any additional donations specifically provided to the organization by registering participants. Selected beneficiaries assist with volunteer recruitment, promotion of the race and management of certain duties during the race weekend.

What to expect:

The organization should have a volunteer coordinator within their organization who will be in charge of recruiting and managing their own volunteers. That coordinator will also work with The Dusty Bandita volunteer coordinator to ensure volunteers spots are filled and implemented smoothly. Requirements, volunteer needs and policies are listed below.

If your organization is accepted as beneficiary, we will dedicate a page on our website (thedustybandita.com) with the organization’s logo and mission. We’ll also promote your organization on our social media handle (@thedustybandita).

Submission Deadline: 2024 beneficiary has been selected.

Beneficiary General Requirements 

  • Social media promo for @thedustybandita at least once monthly on organizations social media platform

  • Provide ~5-10+ volunteers (volunteer needs below)

  • Work/manage at least 1 aid station

Volunteer Event Opportunities and Needs: 

  • Event set up and tear down              - Assisting with parking 

  • Aid Station(s)                                   - Assisting with food and drink vendors 

  • Car sweep course of last riders - Poster distribution                     

  • Assisting with day of needs              - Other assistance as indicated

***POLICIES***: 

  • Organizations are allowed to apply/reapply every year

  • *** If an organization is accepted as beneficiary, but does not follow through with volunteers, social media promotion, or other volunteer asks, the organization forfeits any potential race proceeds The Dusty Bandita may have otherwise been able to provide. They will only receive any donated monies specifically to their organization. **
